Recognizing and Remedying Implicit Bias
Presented by Miller & Martin Attorney
Eileen Rumfelt and Laura Ashby
A diverse workplace improves performance, drives innovation and creativity, and helps businesses be more competitive and profitable. But implicit bias can undermine efforts to grow a diverse workforce. We all have biases, and the challenge is to recognize these biases and minimize their effects by thinking clearly and critically. Miller & Martin will discuss what implicit bias is, how it can influence workplace and recruitment decisions, and strategies to recognize and minimize bias to maximize efficiency in the workplace.
