The Government provides many incentives to promote development and business interest. As a contractor knowledge of what is available can help differentiate your firm from the competition. For example, there are sales tax exemptions for your customer, there are special rules for solar projects and data center projects, incentives for warehouse projects, Office Space, and many other segments of the market. Additionally, there can be property tax concessions, grants for road improvements, special considerations for tenants or building owners. Many incentives are available on small projects. While incentives and abatements may not directly benefit the Contractor your knowledge may help you save money for your client and set your firm up for a long-term relationship.
